Ringo Starr

Filed under: Celebrity, Music — everpopular @ 4:26 am

Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has told to all fans to stop sending letters and requests for autographs, saying mail will be thrown away after October 20 because he has too much to do, LOS ANGELES (Reuters) reports.

Richard Starkey, born on July 7, 1940, Dingle, Liverpool, England. Starkey started as drummer with Rory Storm And The Hurricanes then became acquainted with the Beatles. Ringo is a name derived from his many finger adornments – offered a simple, uncluttered playing style which formed the ideal bedrock for his partners’ sense of melody. Although overshadowed musically, a deadpan sense of humor helped establish his individuality and each album also contained an obligatory Starr vocal. The most notable of these was “Yellow Submarine”, a million-selling single in 1966.

Roday Starr is 68 and still has what to say to the world. He has released more than 12 albums since The Beatles broke up in 1970, the most recent of which was “Liverpool 8″ in January 2008.

Yesterday he made the announcement in a video message titled “Sorry, No More Signing Stuff” posted on his official web site

“I want to tell you after the 20th of October please do not send fan mail to any address you have. Nothing will be signed after the 20th of October. If that is the date on the envelope, it’s gonna be tossed.

“I’m warning you with peace and love I have too much to do. So no more fan mail. Thank you, thank you. And no objects to be signed. Nothing.”

He said; “This is a serious message to everybody watching my update right now. Peace and love. Peace and love.”
Peace and Love is all what we need. We love you!

Britney Spears News

Filed under: Celebrity, Music — everpopular @ 7:26 am

After all the scrapes, annoyances and wrong reasons pop star Britney Spears’ is back with her latest new single – ‘Womansier’. It looks that tooking control of her business affairs in February, she turned her life for the better. So we are glad to see her well again!

It’s a brand new Britney, picking up the pieces of her almost finished career from where she had signed off, not afraid to flaunt herself and showing off her newly toned body in her steamy new video ‘Womanizer’.

The new single from her latest album ‘Circus’ – ‘Womanizer’ is the first single released by Spears, since her stunning triumph at the 2008 MTV Music Awards, where she opened the show and won three awards for her video ‘Piece of Me’.

Always being in the news for all the wrong reasons, the star had been on the mend since her father took control of her business affairs in February, and seems like her personal life too has swung for the better.

In Britney’s latest album ‘Circus’, retro-futurism takes a roller coaster ride expressed through the snappy staccato beats, well-crafted by the young Atlanta-based production team ‘The Outsydas’. The album features clean and contemporary songs but also invokes the quick-witted style of vocal groups like the ‘Andrews Sisters’ – a style Britney’s rival, Christina Aguilera, has mined to great success before.

The highly manipulated vocal complements Spears’ Mississippi Valley Girl diction; though she’s been turned into a robot (again), she actually sounds engaged. The lyrics generate a kind of girl power that’s focussed on besting one obnoxious man, is both vintage and contemporary at the same time – more feminism as opposed to individualism, which is quite in vogue at the moment.

Ronnie Wood.

Filed under: Celebrity, Music — everpopular @ 2:35 pm

Everybody has heard that 53-year-old Ron Wood famous Rolling Stones guitarist, run off with an 18-year-old cocktail waitress leaving his wife of 23 years.

Wood’s publicist made the extraordinary move of speaking publicly about his curious relationship with the teenager yesterday.

The publicist said: ‘She is a drinking partner. When you’re an alcoholic and your family are all telling you to stop drinking you simply find someone else to drink with. You can see how it happens, you end up pushing away the ones you love because you don’t think straight.

‘He met her in a dodgy escort bar at four in the morning when he was boozed out of his mind. I heard she worked there, but doing what I don’t know. It was a very dodgy scenario.

‘He’s fallen off the wagon big time. He’s spiralling out of control and every time he returns to his drinking it’s worse than before. He’s not even clear-headed enough to check himself into rehab.

‘He’s in a very bad way. His son Tyrone has tried to speak to him briefly, but he’s not even waking up until late afternoon. He’s very much spiralling.

‘He’s on two bottles of vodka a day and he has a size 28 waist. He’s not a massive man. He’s an alcoholic who has worked up his tolerance to that amount. He is in contact with Jo but until he sorts out the booze problem, it’s not Ronnie. Nothing can be resolved.

‘ Wood was absent on Thursday night when the rest of his family went to the first night of an art exhibition run by Tyrone in Mayfair.

Asked if she thought the pair were having an affair, Jo told The Sun: ‘They’re not boyfriend or girlfriend – not in that way.’

Ever Popular Mike Jagger.

Filed under: Celebrity, Music — everpopular @ 9:18 pm

Mike Jagger is really the person who will be popular forever.  I love him and his music and would wish him to stay like he is as long as it possible. Could you imagine Mike was born July 26, 1943, during WW2!  And  till now he is still at the centre of attention with his talanted music, explosive temperament and private life.

Today BBC reported that Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger escaped an assassination plot hatched in 1969 by the Hells Angels, a new British Broadcasting Corp. documentary has claimed.

A program to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Monday says the rock star was the target of the plot following a purported dispute with the motorcycle gang over concert security.

Jagger had vowed not to use Hells Angel members as bouncers following the death in December 1969 of an 18-year-old fan at a notorious free performance at Altamont Speedway in Northern California.
